To book your trip, go directly on our website in the GUIDED TRIPS section. To otherwise make a payment we accept VISA/MC, Venmo or PayPal. You can also wire funds directly into our account (contact us for info). *All prices are in US dollars.

North America Trips
Scheduled Trips: A deposit of $250.00 is required at the time of booking. Full payment is due 30 days prior to the trip start date.
Custom Trips: A deposit of $500.00 is required at the time of booking. Full payment is due 60 days prior to the trip start date.
International Trips (including Alaska)
A $500.00 deposit per person is required to reserve space. Full payment is required 60 days prior to the trip start date.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Splitboard Guides International reserves the right to cancel or reschedule trips due to inadequate sign-ups or for other unforeseen circumstances. In the event a scheduled trip has inadequate sign-up, we may be able to offer the option of a discount on our custom guiding rates to allow SGI to still run the trip. This is at the discretion of SGI. Otherwise the trip could be cancelled and you will receive a full refund. However, SGI is not responsible for additional expenses such as airline tickets, car rentals, equipment…etc.
If you need to cancel a reservation contact us as soon as possible. If we receive notice within 20 days you will get your deposit back less a $100 cancellation fee. Less than 20 days notice will forfeit your deposit. If we can fill your spot on a trip (including lodge trips) you will always receive any money you have paid. Of course, you can avoid any money lost by purchasing cancellation insurance for your trip.
Cancelled Trips: If we cancel a trip you will receive a full refund! Occasionally undesirable weather or conditions will force us to go somewhere else; we cannot give refunds because of this. There is almost always someplace where we can find better conditions and weather. If not, we would like to postpone the trip as the first option. Cancellation insurance is strongly recommended in the event you can not participate or if your trip is interrupted “for any reason”. This is available from most travel companies. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding our policy or obtaining insurance. All participants must have personal internationally accepted medical insurance for all activities pertaining to your trip that also includes emergency rescue and evacuation.
Trip Insurance: We strongly reccomend that you get trip insurance before the start of your trip! We have had good trustworthy service with TRAVEL GUARD. Please contact them or another insurance provider prior to the start of your trip. If your not sure or have any questions relating to a cancellation of a trip or wish to further discuss your travel insurance, please contact us and we will be happy to chat with you further.
Splitboard Guides International reserves the right to cancel or reschedule trips due to severe weather or other uncontrollable environmental circumstances that make the trip unsafe to continue. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE DUE TO WEATHER AND UNCONTROLLABLE ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS. A weather credit, or partial weather credit, can be issued for a trip that has been cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of start date due to weather or environmental conditions. This decision is solely at the discretion of the trip leader and/or the directors of SGI.
Note: Weather credits are in-house credits that can be used on any similarly priced SGI scheduled trip within one year of date of issue. They are only valid on courses that are operated by SGI. They are non-transferable. No extensions beyond the one-year expiration date. Weather credits cannot be used on, and are not issued for, international trips.
